Dave cont’d

15 10 2007

I got an e-mail from my brother Dave this morning.  He was playing soccer yesterday and shattered his pinkie finger and had to have surgery on it.  He’s out of surgery and doing well, but won’t be able to play soccer for at least 6 weeks.  He sounds bummed out about that.

I wrote a post about him before, because he was taunting me that there was nothing on my site about him.  So I write about him, and then he e-mails me that there are errors in my post.  So now I’m copying from his e-mail to correct my mistakes

“I shattered my right-hand pinkie finger (1st bone above the knuckle) into 3 pieces yesterday in a soccer game.  I have surgery last night on it and it’s OK, but painful … and I’m out of soccer for at least 6 weeks.  So I am typing with 1.5 hands.Your blog about what I teach is wrong … I don’t teach grad students.  I would only be allowed to teach English to grad students – not “content” classes.  But I don’t even teach those – just undergrad classes.  All of my content classes (except Management Communications) are Introductory classes for undergrads … “

Ok Dave, are you happy now.  You have 2 postings on my site!!

Hope you feel better soon!
